About the treatment

Sofwave uses ultrasound energy to heat tissue within the skin and stimulate a collagen response. It can help improve the appearance of facial lines and skin laxity. Your practitioner will advise whether it is appropriate for your concerns and chosen area.

Sofwave is applied to the skin’s surface and delivers ultrasound energy into the skin without needles or incisions. It is used to address fine lines and early loss of firmness in suitable treatment areas.

What to expect

You may feel heat or discomfort while the energy is delivered. Your practitioner will discuss comfort measures before starting. Redness, swelling or tenderness can occur afterwards, even though recovery is generally limited.

The aim is a gradual improvement in skin quality and firmness. Your practitioner will explain when to review your response and whether further treatment would be appropriate.
