About the treatment

Radiesse is an injectable made with calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel carrier. It can provide structural support and stimulate a collagen response. The treatment approach and expected outcome depend on the area treated and your individual anatomy.

The gel component can provide an initial correction, while the calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres support a longer-term collagen response. Radiesse may be considered for selected facial folds or areas needing structural support, depending on your anatomy.

What to expect

Treatment is given by injection. Redness, swelling, bruising, pain or tenderness can occur, so allow time for the area to settle before judging the outcome.

Your practitioner will explain the product’s suitability, the amount needed and the risks specific to the treatment area. The one- and two-syringe options allow a plan to be selected according to clinical need.
