About the treatment

Ultherapy Prime delivers microfocused ultrasound energy beneath the skin, with ultrasound imaging to help the practitioner visualise the treatment area. It supports a collagen response and improves the appearance of skin laxity. Changes develop gradually, and results vary.

Ultherapy Prime’s imaging allows the practitioner to see the tissue being treated and plan where the ultrasound energy is delivered. Treatment is performed through the skin’s surface, without needles or incisions.

What to expect

You may feel discomfort as the energy is delivered. Temporary redness or tenderness can follow, with tenderness sometimes lasting longer than visible redness. Your practitioner will discuss ways to keep you comfortable.

Most people can return to normal activities promptly, following their aftercare instructions. Visible improvements typically develop over three to six months as collagen forms; the degree of change varies.
